Replace Pak Lah with who?

Malaysiakini was brave enough to report the following:

Umno has received a timely advice from an unlikely source as the powerful ruling party’s internal crisis intensified after Barisan Nasional’s unprecedented electoral defeat on March 8.

Giving his unsolicited suggestion, PAS vice-president Husam Musa said Umno members should show embattled party chief Abdullah Ahmad Badawi the exit before the party is shown the exit from the government.

Source: Malaysiakini
Timely indeed and probably it is the opinion of many. But throw the party chief out who would assume the role? Would the replacement be better than the latter? Would deadwood be replaced by another deadwood of a leader?

Sound advice but what is the alternative?

Almost all the Malaysian politicians that we know of have skeletons in their cubboards and this doesn't help the cause of proper governess in Malaysia. Rather it merely shows how screwed up the political scene is in Malaysia. How we have totally depended on a system that merely gave a resemblance of governance but lack the function.

Throw out the chief and we'll settle for another chief who might blow up the whole country.

Pak Lah should hold on to the post first until Pakatan Rakyat take over, say around 6 months time. I don't think it is immoral for BN parliamentarians to cross over simply because Malaysia need you crossing over to make Malaysia a better, just and fair one.

Anwar is the best person to become PM to revive Malaysia to what we should be.

If no crossing over, Musa Hitam is the next best person to be PM. But the problem is he is not a member of the parliament.

I'D SAY REPLACE THAT USELESS BUT GREEDY SCUM DOLLAH & ALL UMNO GOONS WITH ANWAR & PAKATAN MPS! YES, ANWAR FOR PM! & LIM GUAN ENG FOR DPM!

By the way, BN won by fraud and injustice for this election and has always been; so I don't see any reason to scream down on Pakatan takeover right now??!! What' so immoral about correcting injustice; and if some BN politicians have come to their senses finally; good for them They're human after all; so be it. Anwar made a lot of mistakes, more so the endlessly irrationally screaming should-shut-their big-mouth Pas; so what's wrong with BN politicians repenting, to the rakyat that is. And by jumping onto the right ship of Pakatan finally; but must be fundamenatally for justice sake, over power-hungry sake!

After reading a lot of article in Malaysiakini, many seem to suggest Najib should take over Pak Lah temporarily. First thing come to my mind when Najib's name been mentioned is bloody 'RACIST'. In the heist of racial tension between HINDRAF and the government, he is the man said that Kg.Baru Malays were ready to turun padang if not for the government to intervene. What a smart thing to say haa! Well, here is my verdict: Let replace a moron with another moron so we can see UMNO is crumbling in front of our very own eyes.

The BN government is increasingly looking like the Titanic. The mud slinging going on between Badawi, Mahathir and Razaleigh is leaving the BN regime in tatters. This is not helped by spineless individuals like Nazri Aziz and Zahid Hamidi who would cheer on anyone who is PM but immediately chastise the individual once he is no longer PM. (Remember, dear Mahathir and Badawi, "Melayu mudah lupa".) Then, we have the Ong brothers from MCA talking trash while MIC and Gerakan are busy re-inventing themselves in circles.

We also hear that document and files have gone missing in states ruled by Pakatan Rakyat. Personally if you asked me, I don't trust the BN government, the Police, the Judiciary, the AG, the Elections Commission and the civil service.

Due to this, I believe that Pakatan Rakyat must not waste any time to form the government. The BN government is now falling from within. If we as a nation don't bail out from this spiral, we as a nation may end up in the abyss with Badawi and Company! We must have regime change by having a PR government in place. We must not let the BN regime stay in power for another 5 years because by the time the next GE comes, the nations wealth would have been stripped clean and all evidence involving the sins of the BN regime would have been wiped clean by then.

Some people are against the crossing over of elected BN reps to PR. They feel this is a betrayal of the voter's trust. What I would like to suggest is why not, come April 28, if there are any BN MP's who are disillusioned and dissatisfied with the BN regime, they can declare themselves as Independent MP's and join the 82 PR MP's in passing a motion of no confidence on Badawi and his government.

I think His Majesty the Yang Dipertuan Agung, would not consent for another GE. Rather, the 82 PR MP's can form a Minority government. Infact, this government can also go on to be a Government of National Reconciliation by having not only the Independent MP's with them but also BN MP's as well, so long as they are clean.

Therefore, there is no need to wait for Datuk Seri Anwar to get to Parliament for this to happen. With Datuk Seri Anwar by her side, I'm sure Leader of the Opposition, Datin Seri Dr. Wan Azizah will make a good PM. Time is of the essence. We must not let this opportunity slip away. Go for regime change now!

Great comments folks,

Even if the people do manage to push for a reformed government by removing all the deadwood, we see that the replacements are no better off than the ones we have now.

So all this calling to step down leaves us with that big question, who would come next?
